A QUACK CURE
SCOTIABANK NUIT BLANCHE
TORONTO, CANADA |  2013
A Quack Cure halfway between a contemporary mummers play and a bizarre zoo exhibit, presupposed that several extinct animals were brought back to life for this festive night. Caught between the inescapable consequence of ecological catastrophe and the merriment of spectacle, the creatures subtly interacted with the audience, drawing them into their strange world. The aim of the project was to lure the audience past the spectacle of the event and into the same negotiations with consequence the creatures were faced with.
