New Sudbury Songs is a project created with SACY (the Sudbury Action Centre for Youth) together with Hamilton artist/songwriter Tor Lukasik-Foss which created new protest songs about living in downtown Sudbury. Working with the youth at SACY the songs were created from stories and experiences they shared about the realities of spending time in various downtown places. These songs were then sung in and to those spaces, as a way of sharing them and as reclaiming those experiences.
